Dr. Smith is a Board Certified Dermatologist. He brings years of vast experience in all aspects of medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology to the Pacific NorthWest.
You can personally see and be treated by Dr. Smith at his two clinics DermaHealth Dermatology & Dermasurgery (www.DermaHealthDermatology.com) and DermaCare of Tri-Cities (www.DermaCareTriCities.com).
Currently, Dr. Smith served as the past President of the Washington State Dermatology Association. Dr. Smith is additionally a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society of Dermatological Surgery, the American Society for Mohs Surgery, the Association of Military Dermatologists, the Washington State Dermatology Association, and Alpha Omega Alpha (national honors medical society).
Due to Dr. Smith's expertise, he has been a national trainer for lasers and dermal fillers. Additionally he has been frequently consulted by other medispas and laser companies for his expert opinion. He has authored numerous dermatology journal articles and chapters. Additionally he has given numerous academic dermatology lectures locally and nationally. Dr. Smith has also spoken on local and national pharmaceutical speakers bureaus.
Local TV and Radio stations turn to Dr. Smith's dermatological expertise on current issues. He has been a frequent guest on Good Morning Northwest educating the audience on a vast array of cosmetic and medical dermatology issues. Additionally, he periodically writes the "Ask the Skin Expert" articles for The Entertainer Newspaper. Frequently Dr. Smith does live cosmetic demonstrations and lectures at local expos and shows.
Dr. Smith is bilingual in Spanish and English.
Dr. Smith graduated from Brigham Young University, University of Utah, and with honors from Ponce School of Medicine. He completed his Transitional Internship at William Beaumont Army Medical Center, Fort Bliss, and his Dermatology Residency at the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium at Brooke Army Medical Center, Fort Sam Houston, and Wilford Hall Air Force Medical Center, Lackland Base.
During his almost nine years of active duty service in the United States Army, Dr. Smith served as Chief of Dermatology, Teaching Staff for Dermatology Residents & other residents, and as the Theater Dermatologist in Baghdad, Iraq.
In our local communities besides offering numerous FREE Skin Cancer Screening events, he serves as the Scoutmaster for the local Boy Scout Troop 911. Dr. Smith himself was an Eagle Scout and knows first hand the importance of Scouting. He spends countless hours with the boys to not only have fun and learn, but he is passionate about helping each one of them achieve the rank of Eagle Scout.
Dr. Smith is better known as Sidney's dad, the twin's father, or Rosy's husband. His six passions in life are his Family, his Faith, Chocolate, Exercise, Sun Block, & Dermatology.

Danielle Ello Cruto, DO

Dr. Danielle Ello Cruto is a Board Certified Family Medicine Physician who specializes in Dermatology. She has been practicing in the Tri-Cities, Washington since 2018.
Dr. Ello Cruto grew up in the Tri-Cities and graduated from the University of Southern California (USC) in Kinesiology and Classical Voice. She then Graduated from Pacific Northwest University College of Medicine with Honors (Sigma Sigma Phi Honors). She completed her Family Medicine as Chief Resident at Trios Health in 2021.
She spends her free time with her husband chasing their four children and yodeling from the peaks of the Pacific Northwest mountain tops. Additionally she and her husband are avid powerlifters. Her personal best is 330 lbs deadlift and 300 lbs squatting. Besides powerlifting and chasing her kids, the remainder of her time is spent reading Lord of Ring inspired books. She aspires to be a singer on a cruise ship (K-Pop style), become a Scrabble pro, and learn how to crochet blankets for the homeless. Dr. Ello Cruto speaks English, Tagalog (Filipino), as well as conversational Spanish. She is excited to help with your medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatological needs.

Kathleen Stidham, DCNP | Dermatology Certified Nurse Practitioner Dermatology Certified Nurse Practitioner Kathleen Stidham graduated Magna Cum Laude from Washington State University. There she earned both her bachelors and masters degrees in nursing. She joined our family as a Nurse Practitioner in 2007 and has vast experience in health and skin care. She has years of experience in critical care, emergency nursing, staff development, pulmonary and sleep medicine. She is also a member of the National Academy of Dermatology Nurse Practitioners, American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, and the Washington State Dermatology Association. Nurse Practitioner Stidham excels in dermal fillers (Radiesse, Perlane, Juvederm, Voluma, Belotero and Restylane) and Botulinum A Toxin injections (Botox Cosmetic, Xeomin or Dysport). In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, shopping at Nordstrom, hiking, camping, traveling, reading and eating dark chocolate.

Gary Strong (PA Strong) earned his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University and completed dual master’s degrees in Public Health and Medical Science (Physician Assistant) at Arcadia University in Glenside, Pennsylvania. He is a Diplomate Fellow of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, having completed their intensive dermatology fellowship program.
PA Strong has been working in dermatology since 2012 and joined DermaHealth Dermatology & Dermasurgery in 2017. Prior to this, he practiced dermatology in Edmonds, WA, and family medicine in Othello, WA. At DermaHealth, Gary provides comprehensive dermatologic care, including medical, surgical, and cosmetic treatments. He has extensive experience in diagnosing and treating skin cancer and performs advanced surgical repairs such as complex closures, flaps, and grafts. He is particularly passionate about skin cancer prevention, early detection, and patient education.
Outside of work, he is an adventurer who has lived and traveled throughout the world, including Israel, Jordan, Egypt, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Canada, Costa Rica, and Puerto Rico, where he served a two-year mission for his Church. His favorite food is Puerto Rican mofongo and arroz con gandules. He is fluent in Spanish and enjoys connecting with his patients.
Gary and his wife are raising six children in the Tri-Cities, where they enjoy running, hiking, camping, basketball, reading, underwater basket weaving, and traveling together.

Zarlashta Jalalyar is a cosmetic Nurse practitioner. Zarlashta graduated from Washington State University College of Nursing, and started working in the Emergency Department upon completion of her bachelors degree. After working 5 years in Emergency medicine Zarlashta decided to go back to school to further her education and broaden her scope of practice. She graduated from Frontier Nursing University with honors in 2021 with her Masters of Science in Nursing Family Nurse Practitioner. Zarlashta is very passionate about Aesthetic medicine, and loves to see her clients happy.
Some of her hobbies are running, hiking and traveling. She enjoys experiencing different places, eating their food and learning their cultures. She also cherishes spending time with her family and close friends, especially her little nephews. Zarlashta can’t wait to work alongside the amazing DermaCare Of Tri-Cities team in preforming safe and confidence boosting treatments.

Meet PA Salgado, our new Physician Assistant who combines professional excellence with a spirit of adventure. PA Salgado earned a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Psychology from Eastern Washington University, where she also excelled as a Division 1 soccer player. Her team's impressive record of three Big Sky Conference championships highlights her commitment and teamwork—qualities she now brings to patient care.
PA Salgado began her healthcare career as a medical assistant in dermatology, working in Spokane and Tacoma. This hands-on experience paved the way for her advanced studies, leading her to graduate from Sullivan University in Louisville, KY with a Physician Assistant degree in 2024. Her professional journey also includes semi-professional soccer stints with FC Tucson and Lexington Sporting Club, proving her ability to excel both on and off the field.
An active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA), PA Salgado stays current with the latest medical advancements and best practices.
Outside of work, PA Salgado is passionate about travel and adventure. Having visited 33 states and several countries, she loves immersing herself in new cultures and experiences. She’s currently learning Spanish on Duolingo and welcomes any extra help or conversation practice. Fun fact: she knows how to count in German, Spanish, and French, and knows the alphabet in ASL—though she’s not quite fluent in any language just yet!
In her downtime, PA Salgado enjoys pickleball, snowboarding, and working out. She also occasionally laces up her soccer cleats, though she humorously admits that her “soccer skills” are more about fun and fitness than scoring goals these days.
Recently relocated to the Tri-Cities with her husband and two cats, PA Salgado is excited to be part of the community and looks forward to providing exceptional care with a touch of friendly humor and enthusiasm for new experiences and to support patients on their path to health, wellness, and beautiful skin.

Grant Stock is a certified physician assistant specializing in dermatology. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Brigham Young University and completed his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at the University of South Alabama with honors in 2025.
Outside of the clinic, Grant enjoys hiking, scuba diving, and spending time with his wife and three children. Grant has scuba dived in Hawaii, Mexico, Costa Rica, the British Virgin Islands, and his favorite things to see are the peacock flounders and manta rays.
Born and raised in the Tri-Cities area of Washington, Grant is grateful to serve the community he calls home. He has a special interest in both medical and cosmetic dermatology and is passionate about helping patients achieve healthy, confident skin through personalized care and education. He enjoys building lasting relationships with his patients and is dedicated to promoting overall skin health.
